Kenneth Morgan grew up in Southern and Southeastern Ohio, graduating from Chesapeake High School in 2007. As a moderate republican, he feels that the government does have a responsibility to help provide opportunities to disenfranchised Americans, but that we must be do so in a fiscally responsible way. He is currently a dual major at Marshall University in Political Science with a concentration in International and Comparative Politics and International Affairs. Kenneth rejects fringe identitarian politics, the totalitarian mentality of the far left and the racism of the far left and the far right.
He spent six years as a Navy Corpsman, serving with the Marines of the third Battalion twenty fifth Marine Division. During his military service he was proud to serve with his Marines in Afghanistan and be awarded the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the Afghanistan Campaign Medal and the Combat Action Ribbon, among others.
Kenneth now hopes to serve the people of his congressional district by making the federal government less intrusive into our lives, bringing accountability and common sense to Washington, and working with members of both parties to help push the United States in the proper direction and away from destructive Socialist ideas.
Kenneth Morgan is a young moderate republican. His stances are socially centrist and fiscally conservative. He dislikes modern outrage culture and tries to work hard and be ethical in both his words and actions. His family taught him the values of honor and commitment from a young age, and the military reinforced both those values further. Having served in Afghanistan and surviving an IED blast, he understands the values of maintaining a strong military presence around the world. However, Kenneth is against regime change wars and does not wish to send our troops to fight wars that our politicians were too lazy to attempt to prevent in the first place.
